RALEIGH, N.C. — A fire that gutted a mobile on home on Kings Parkway in east Raleigh early Thursday morning may be suspicious, investigators with the Raleigh Fire Department said.

Crews responded to the mobile home, at 291 Kings Pkwy, around 1:30 a.m. after a neighbor saw flames. No one was home at the time the fire started, but investigators believe people do live in the home.

In late February, fire crews responded to a similar fire at 220 Kings Pkwy. That incident was ruled arson after an investigation.
