Clayton residents saw flames shooting into the sky Saturday night as a wildfire burned near the Walmart on Town Centre Boulevard.

<b>CLAYTON, N.C.</b> — A trailer burned near the Clayton Walmart Saturday night, sending flames shooting into the sky.

Firefighters contained the blaze off Town Centre Boulevard just before 11 p.m., but it was not clear whether the heat was a factor in causing the fire.

No one was hurt and no other buildings were damaged by the fire.
