<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fire destroyed a home on East Loch Haven Drive, near McFayden Lake, in Fayetteville on Friday.

Officials said two people made it out safely when flames broke out at about 3:40 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause was under investigation.

According to fire officials, the American Red Cross was requested to assist the family.

More information was not immediately available.
