Fire damages Fayetteville home; no injuries reported

Fire damaged a two-story home in the 6000 block of Kimridge Road Wednesday night, according to Fayetteville fire officials.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fire damaged a two-story home in the 6000 block of Kimridge Road Wednesday night, according to Fayetteville fire officials.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the home at 6406 Kimridge Road in the Loch Lomond subdivision at about 7 p.m.

According to investigators, the fire appears to have started in the kitchen.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
