Fiona Apple and Al Green have each announced shows at this September at the Durham Performing Arts Center.

Apple recently announced plans to extend her sold out spring tour. She will hit the DPAC on Sept. 27. This is her first tour in five years. The outing is to promote her first album in seven years, The Idler Wheel, which drops Tuesday.

Apple gained success in the 1990s with her triple platinum album Tidal, which spawned the hit single "Criminal." Her later releases, When the Pawn... and Extraordinary Machine, also debuted in the Billboard top 10.

Green, known for his hits including "Let's Stay Together" and "Tired of Being Alone," will play the DPAC on Sept. 19. He is touring in support of his latest release, Lay It Down, which features collaborations with John Legend, Corinne Bailey Rae and Anthony Hamilton.

Tickets for Apple's show go on sale Saturday, June 23, at 10 a.m. and Green's tickets are available starting Friday, June 29, at 10 a.m. You can score tickets through the DPAC and Ticketmaster.
