Fayetteville post office on list for closure

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The post office in Fayetteville's Haymount section, at 106 Oakridge Ave., is among those targeted for closure. The United States Postal Service submitted the list of 677 locations to a Congressional subcommittee Monday.
Sources told The Washington Post that the committee was expected to cut the list by about two-thirds, meaning only about 200 locations would ultimately close.
