FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are trying to identify a person of interest in the death of a man shot in his apartment early last Sunday.

Keith Lamont Cole, 30, was shot in the chest and killed in his apartment at 3385 Galleria Drive around 1:25 a.m. on Jan. 30. Police said Cole might have been attacked by three black men and a white man.

Police on Friday released surveillance photographs of a man and vehicle. They described him as a person of interest to whom they would like to talk.

Anyone with information about the man's identity, the vehicle or any other tips in the case should call police Detective Jeff Locklear at 910-587-3254.
