Fayetteville police are asking the public for new information that could help them find a woman reported missing in October 2014.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are asking the public for new information that could help them find a woman reported missing in October 2014.

Meta Price Valentine was reported missing Oct. 29, 2014, after she did not show up for a function. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Valentine's disappearance is an open case, and detectives are actively searching for her, police said Thursday.

Valentine is about 5 feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds. She has blonde tinted hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, gray sweatpants and flip-flops.
