Fayetteville police asked for help from the public Tuesday in identifying a man wanted for property crimes.

Police released a series of surveillance images in which the man could be seen mugging for the camera.

"Given the extroverted nature of his interaction with the surveillance camera, it is believed he may easily be spotted downtown," said police spokesman Dan Grubb.

The man, who is white with medium-length, wavy, blond hair and two piercings in his lower lip, appears to be in his 20s.

According to police, he frequents the Main Library at Ray Avenue and Hay Street and is known to ride a blue-and-silver bike.

Police asked that anyone with information about who he is or where he lives call 910-433-1856 or 910-483-8477.
