Fayetteville police release surveillance footage of Burger King robbery

Fayetteville police on Tuesday released surveillance video and a photo of an armed robbery reported over the weekend at a Burger King on South Reilly Road.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police on Tuesday released surveillance video and a photo of an armed robbery reported over the weekend at a Burger King on South Reilly Road.

Investigators say the robber entered the fast food restaurant at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday and demanded that employees open a cash register. The robber left the restaurant on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

The robber was wearing dark clothing, a ski mask, gloves and glasses and was carrying a bag with a draw string.
