Campbell University: Professor missing in Fayetteville found safe

A man who was last seen near Hurricane Matthew flood waters in Fayetteville has been found, according to the college where he works.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A man who was last seen near Hurricane Matthew flood waters in Fayetteville has been found, according to the college where he works.

Boris Sebastian Abbey was reported missing by his family on Oct. 9 after disappearing the day before. Abbey, 43, was last seen near fast-moving water in the area of Morganton and Westlake roads, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.

On Tuesday morning, Campbell University posted on its Facebook page that Abbey was found alive and well.
