<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police detectives asked for the public’s help to solve a shooting that happened early Friday.

Officers responding to a call found Rodriguez Harris, 20, lying in the roadway at 5109 Sequoia Road around 2 a.m.

Harris had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head, police said.  He was flown to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he remained in critical condition late Friday.

Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call police at 910-433-1856. To leave an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
