A Fayetteville man was arrested Friday in connection with the Christmas Day robbery of a Wilco Hess gas station.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A Fayetteville man was arrested Friday in connection with the Christmas Day robbery of a Wilco Hess gas station.

Bryant Keith Gerald, 47, was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and second-degree kidnapping.

Police said a man armed with a handgun walked into the gas station at 470 Grove St. in Fayetteville at about 7:20 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk. He took the cash and ran toward B Street.
