A Fayetteville man accused of attacking his roommate with a hatchet surrendered to police Tuesday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man accused of attacking his roommate with a hatchet surrendered to police Tuesday.

Ryan Damon Green, 33, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and assault on a female. He was being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $100,000 bond.

Devin Dillingham told police that Green attacked him Sunday morning in their home in the 7200 block of Ryan Street after Green assaulted a woman in the home. Dillingham suffered a laceration on his back and was listed in good condition Monday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, police said.
