FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man was arrested Monday on drugs charges, authorities said.

Morris Minson Porter, 42, of 188 E. Hudson St., is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the sale and delivery of marijuana.

Agents said the case is also being reviewed for possible federal weapons violations.

Members of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Narcotics said that Porter has been the subject of an ongoing investigation.

On Monday, agents executed a search warrant on Porter’s property and found more than 20 weapons, more than 30 grams of marijuana and a bottle of Percocet in his possession.

Porter was being held under a $5,000 bond in the Cumberland County Detention Center on Monday. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing.
