CARTHAGE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man faces charges for having allegedly sex with one of his boss' dogs.

Samuel James Johnson, 30, of Fayetteville, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony crimes against nature and misdemeanor cruelty to animals.

Moore County sheriff's deputies arrested Johnson Sunday after a neighbor spotted him allegedly assaulting the dog late last month in his yard.

Johnson, who was in the Moore County Jail Monday under $3,500 bond, was expected in court to face the charges on Sept. 17.

Two dogs are being held at the Moore County Animal Sheler until a judge decides whether they should be returned to their owners.
