Fayetteville man charged with attempted murder
A Fayetteville man was arrested Tuesday after deputies say he shot multiple rounds at a man who was driving away from his house after an argument, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said.
Posted — UpdatedSharif Omar Taylor, 37, of 1729 Nova Glen Drive, was charged with attempted murder and discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle. He was being held in the Cumberland County jail under a $300,000 bond.
Investigators say that 37-year-old Curtis Jerome Johnson was visiting Taylor's home on Aug. 23 when a fight broke out between them. Johnson ran to his vehicle and drove off and said he saw in his rear-view mirror that Taylor was on the porch with a gun.
