Fayetteville man accused of human trafficking
A Fayetteville man accused in a prostitution scheme involving an underage girl was arrested Monday, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office reported.
Posted — UpdatedFranklin Robinson, 24, of the 100 block of Eastwood Drive, is charged with promoting prostitution and facilitating prostitution of a minor.
Investigators said Robinson used his cellphone to arrange for clients to meet the victim, a teenager, exchange for money. He is also accused of driving the victim to a motel room to engage in sex acts.
Robinson was held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $200,000 bond, and he is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 19.
