Fayetteville Crash Kills 1, Injures 3
A Fayetteville man died after a single-car crash on Strickland Bridge Road near Hackney Loop Road on April 13.

Police said Marlon Prescott, 31, of 6504 Green Meadow Drive, was traveling north in a 2003 Ford when he lost control of the car and it crossed the center line, struck several trees and rolled over.
Prescott died from his injuries.
One passenger, Andrea Taylor, 25, of 6540 Green Meadow Drive, was ejected from the car and taken to UNC Chapel Hill for treatment, police said.
The other passengers in the vehicle were Gilmarg Jenkins, 36, of 1016 Leslie Drive, and Lance Curry, 27, of 2205 Hackney Loop, police reported. Both were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Their conditions were unknown as of Monday. No charges were filed.
