FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A fire in a Fayetteville apartment Saturday morning may be related to a domestic dispute reported hours earlier.

Fire crews were called to the King George Apartments on King George Drive shortly after 7 a.m. Saturday. Only one apartment was affected in the two-story, four-unit building. Crews had the fire under control around 7:30 a.m.

Police had been called to the same apartment to investigate a domestic dispute earlier Saturday morning.

Authorities called the fire suspicious.

No one was injured, and no other information has been released.
