Father, son charged with selling drugs from home

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a father and son with selling drugs from their home on Evers Drive.

Needham Holder Jr., 54, and Needham Holder III, 22, were being held in the Wake County Jail Friday.

Holder Jr. had a $40,000 bond, while Holder III had a $25,000 bond. Both men are set to appear in court Monday.

Holder III has past convictions for selling drugs and maintaining a place for a contraband substance in Wake County, according to state Department of Correction records. He was released from prison in July after serving 7 months for a probation violation.

DOC records show that Holder Jr. has been convicted of taking indecent liberties with a minor, larceny and trespassing.
