HURDLE MILLS, N.C. — Dubbed the "Best All You Can Eat Feast in the Country" by Bon Appetit magazine, the Farm to Fork Picnic is truly an event not to be missed.
The annual celebration of local food and farmers is June 8 at W.C. Breeze Family Farm in Hurdle Mills, a few miles north of Hillsborough.

This year's it will feature more than 35 chefs, 35 farmers and 11 food artisans working together to create delectable cuisine for diners.

Since debuting in 2007, Farm to Fork has sold out every year, so you might want to get your tickets early.

Tickets are $100 per person and include drinks. Proceeds support internships and farm apprentice programs at Center for Environmental Systems and the Breeze Farm Incubator. The average age of farmers in North Carolina is 59, so recruiting new farmers is necessary.

Tickets can be purchased online.
