RALEIGH, N.C. — A family who visited the Wake County Animal Care, Control and Adoption Center on Sunday was reunited with a dog they lost in 2013, according to the center’s official Facebook page.

A posting on the center’s Facebook page said the family returned a dog they originally adopted on Saturday and then spotted “Otto” on the adoption floor of the facility before leaving.

According to the shelter, the family recognized “Otto” as their dog “Zuko.” The dog is now microchipped and at home reconnecting with his long-lost family.
