RALEIGH, N.C. — There is no shortage of family fun events happening this weekend. Here are few of our picks:
Blippi The Musical (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Blippi The Musical brings the energetic and lovable character Blippi off the screen and onto the stage with world-class production, audience engagement and amazing music. See the show Saturday at DPAC.
Durham Bulls Baseball Hockey Night (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - Hockey Night returns to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Sept. 10. Bulls players and coaches will wear specialty Canes themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off to benefit the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation. Stormy and the Hurricanes' warning siren are scheduled to be at the ballpark.
40th Annual Apex PeakFest (Historic Downtown Apex, N Salem St & Center St, Apex) - This annual festival celebrates everything Apex on Saturday on Salem Street. The event will include vendors, music and food.
NC Sugar Rush (The Pavilion at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster St, Durham) - This all dessert food truck rodeo will be held Saturday at Durham Central Park from 3 to 8 p.m.
47th Annual Crepe Myrtle Celebration (Angier Depot Square, 19 West Depot Street, Angier) - This annual festival will be held in downtown Angier on Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be food, vendors and live music. Plus there will be a special Kidsville area with rides and games.

The Best of North Hills: Fall Concert Series (Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park @ North Hills, 4011 Cardinal at North Hills St., Raleigh) - Enjoy some of the best area tribute bands during this outdoor concert at North Hills' Midtown Park Friday night form 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is $10 and children ages 13 years and younger are admitted for free.
Bull City RoundUp Food Truck Rodeo & Vendor Market (Suite 4 , 506 Ramseur Street, Durham) - Enjoy this vendor market and food truck rode on Saturday from 2 to 10 p.m. at Suite Four in Durham.
Marvel Movie Premier Weekend and a Double Feature! (Shang-Chi & then Free Guy) (Triangle Town Center Mall, 5959 Triangle Town Blvd, Raleigh) - Enjoy two outdoor movies at Triangle Town Center mall's parking lot this weekend. There will be a screening of "Shang-Chi" followed by "Free Guy" on Friday and Saturday nights.
NC International Auto Expo (The Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S Salisbury St, Raleigh) - Check out the newest cars, trucks and sports utility vehicles this weekend at this event Friday through Sunday at the Raleigh Convention Center.
Brunch Moore Market (Moore Square Park, 200 South Blount Street, Raleigh) - The Brunch Moore Market will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Moore Square. There will be farmers, artisans, food trucks and a DJ. Admission is free. This event is all outdoors and masks are suggested for anyone who is not vaccinated.
The Streetery (Van Alen, 511 South Mangum Street, Durham) - At The Streetery, organizers close streets to vehicle traffic and open them up for outdoor dining. On Saturday, the Streetery will be held at Van Alen and 555 from 5 to 9 p.m. Face masks must be worn in indoor public places including restaurants and retail businesses.
