Fall in Raleigh calls for a seasonal beer fest

The Raleigh Fall Brew Fest combines Halloween fun with craft beer.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Raleigh Fall Brew Fest, held Saturday, Nov. 1, at Cardinal Hall on Lead Mine Road, combines Halloween fun with craft beer.

There will be a costume contest, so wear your Halloween best. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card.

The event benefits the NC Therapeutic Riding Center, one of the oldest therapeutic riding programs in North Carolina. Children, teens and adults with a variety of special challenges have benefited from NCTRC for more than 30 years.

General admission is $35 in advance and $40 the day of the event. Admission includes live music from Jack The Radio and a souvenir glass.

VIP admission, $45 in advance and $50 the day of, starts an hour before general admission and includes a special Cabot Cheese and Fortnight beer pairing.

Designated driver tickets are $15 and available at the door the day of event.

This beer festival aims to have a more intimate feel, giving guests the opportunity to talk with brewers and avoid long lines.
