Explore Durham with a digital scavenger hunt
A new iPhone app is the basis of a digital scavenger hunt through Durham.
Posted — UpdatedThe app is similar to Foursquare. After arriving at a physical location, users can leave digital notes for themselves or others to read, or read notes left by other people and businesses. For the scavenger hunt, digital clues will be left at locations around Durham, and it's up to you to find them!
The scavenger hunt runs on a point system. You earn one point for every secret you discover, every find you share to Facebook, and every "popup" or note you leave. The winner will be announced in early September.
Bull City Secrets also has more fun stuff to give away: the user with the most popups redeemed and the most shared popups will receive a $500 American Express gift card, and the business with the most secrets redeemed will win $500 for their favorite charity.
