<b>FALLSTON, N.C.</b> — A state prison inmate who walked away from work duty at a Department of Transportation facility in Shelby on Friday was captured Wednesday afternoon, a spokesman with the Department of Correction said.<br />

A telephone tip led officers to Jason Norris in Fallston. <br />

Norris, who is serving time at the Rutherford Correctional Center in Spindale for a drug possession conviction, will be charged with escape, officials said.
