5th Grader Casting Call
FOX 50 holds local casting call for the new class of the hit TV show 'Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?'

This summer one rising 5th grader in our area will get a once in a lifetime opportunity!. FOX is going on a nationwide talent search to find a group of 5th graders that will put grown-ups to the test on the next season of the hit TV show Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?
FOX 50 is looking for bright, energetic and personable rising 5th graders (students who are entering the 5th grade in the 2008-2009 school year). Interested kids should send a video tape up to 5 minutes in length showing off their personality, talents and smarts.
Tapes must also include the official FOX 50 application and release forms which can be found online at myFOX50.com. Entries can either drop-off or mailed to FOX 50 (WRAZ-TV), 512 S. Mangum Street, Durham, NC during regular business hours. Deadline for entering is Wednesday, June 18, at 5:30pm.
The grand prize winner will be announced on June 23 and wins an audition with the casting/show executive of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? to be held in Los Angeles. The trip includes round trip airfare and hotel accommodations for the student and parent or legal guardian.
Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? hosted by Jeff Foxworthy airs Thursdays at 8:00pm on FOX 50! Episodes are also available anytime on FOX on Demand on www.myFOX50.com.
