Enfield man charged with rape, assault
Authorities said they filed felony warrants against an Enfield man after receiving assault complaints Saturday night.

HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities arrested an Enfield man after receiving an assault complaint Saturday night.
Isalas Leiva Rosales, 56, was charged with assault on a female and first-degree rape.
Officials said Rosales allegedly assaulted the victim and committed sexual acts
Rosales fled the scene on foot and was later tracked down by Halifax police and K-9, authorities said.
The 56-year-old is being held at the Halifax County Jail under a $100,000 bond. He will appear in court on Oct. 21.
