A quick note to share some information about afterschool programs at Endeavor Charter School.

The programs - led by the school's teachers and some parents too - are for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. They run from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Endeavor campus on Forum Drive in north Raleigh. The next session begins the week of April 11 and runs for eight weeks. And all sessions are open to the public.

I'm told the programs are designed to be an extension of the school's philosophy, which is "Learning by Doing," so all of the classes involve hands-on activities. There are academic programs, artsy classes, fitness options and more.
