An elderly Roxboro woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Person County on Saturday morning.

<b>ROXBORO, N.C.</b> — An elderly Roxboro woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Person County on Saturday morning.

Lucille Zimmerman Sartin, 69, of 255 Roseville Loop,  ran a stop sign at Wrenn Crumpton and Whitt Town roads around 10:30 a.m., state troopers said. Her vehicle hit another traveling east on Wrenn Crumpton.

Sartin was killed in the accident. Troopers said no charges will be filed, because she was at fault in the accident.

The other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and taken to an area hospital.

A man was punched in the face and kicked in the head Saturday night outside of PNC Arena. Witnesses said the attack happened after the Carolina Hurricanes' 4-3 win against the New York Rangers in Game 4 of the second round of the NHL playoffs.
