The weather is putting a damper on the region's egg hunts.

It's deja vu all over again. Last year, many of the region's most popular egg hunts were postponed because of rain.

This year, it's the same story.

Here's what I have so far. Check the box to the left for links.

Cary's egg hunt at Bond Park will not be held today. The rain date is Sunday, but only the afternoon hunts will be held.

Garner's Spring Eggstravaganza at Lake Benson Park has been moved to 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday. The egg hunt will be at 2 p.m.

Orange County's celebration at River Park in Hillsborough will not be today. It's been rescheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday.

The hunt in Zebulon has been canceled.

The activities at Brier Creek Community Center are still on. I'm told everything has been moved inside. Starts at 11 a.m.

The hunt at Mordecai Historic Park in Raleigh is still on unless the weather is too severe to move forward. It's at 11 a.m.

And Pullen Park's hunt has been postponed until 4 p.m. Monday. Here's Monday's schedule of events at Pullen:

9:30 a.m.: Playground and ticket sales open

10 a.m.: Rides open

4 p.m.: Arts and crafts

5 p.m.: Egg hunt

That's what I have so far. Today was the big day for egg hunts. There are many more across the region today. If you planned on going to one that's not listed here, I definitely recommend checking before you go.

If you know of other cancellations or changes, please share in the comments.
