Durham to Shut Down Portion of Road
Durham’s department of public works will close a portion of South Alston Avenue to all vehicles beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 p.m. Friday.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Durham’s department of public works will close a portion of South Alston Avenue to all vehicles beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday until 7 p.m. Friday.
No thru traffic will be allowed during that time frame. Local traffic will be detoured from the intersection of South Alston Avenue at N.C. Hwy. 55 to Nixon Street.
For access to Capps Street, traffic will be detoured to Riddle Road north onto Crowell Street and then over to Baltic Street, which leads back to Capps Street.
