Durham residents invited to weigh in on business plan
Durham officials are inviting residents to give their feedback on the next phase of the city's new business plan.
Posted — UpdatedThe city is holding three community meetings on its Strategic Plan, which outlines City Council's goals for the future of Durham. The plan is divided into five goals, which focus on the economy, neighborhoods, city management, community safety and infrastructure.
The first meeting will be Sept. 22 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at North Regional Library, 221 Milton Road. The second meeting will be Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m,. at South Regional Library, 4505 S. Alston Ave. The third meeting will be Oct. 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Holton Career & Research Center, 401 N. Driver St.
The Strategic Plan was approved in April 2011 by the City Council.
