Durham Public Schools to ask taxpayers for $110 million

Durham Public Schools plans to ask taxpayers for $100 million, as a base number, in a November referendum.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham Public Schools plans to ask taxpayers for $100 million, as a base number, in a November referendum.

The plan includes $51 million for a new Northern High School, and $28 million for a new elementary school in southern Durham.

Eno Valley Elementary would also receive more than $7 million for renovations.
