Durham police seek man accused of stabbing woman

Durham police investigators are trying to find Brian Wayne Williams, 32, who is charged with stabbing a woman multiple times Thursday morning.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators are trying to find Brian Wayne Williams, 32, who is charged with stabbing a woman multiple times Thursday morning.

Williams, of Bacon Street, is accused of stabbing a 28-year-old acquaintance inside a house on South Benjamine Street around 3 a.m. Several other people, including children, were in the house when the attack occurred, according to police.

The woman went to Duke University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
