Andre Thomspon Jr.
DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are searching for a 20-month-old boy who may be in Durham or Southport.

The boy, Andre Thompson Jr., is believed to be with his mother or father, but neither parent has legal custody of the child, police said.

The mother was identified as 24-year-old Dreama Ferguson. The father is 38-year-old Andre Thompson.

This is the second time the boy has been missing. In April,  Durham police found the child after he was missing for about a day.

Ferguson and Thompson were arrested on charges of child neglect in Winston-Salem. The child was not with them at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 919-560-4427 or 911.
