Durham Police Searching for Man

Durham police investigators are trying to locate Timothy George Kenon. He was charged with stabbing a man Monday night on East Pettigrew Street, officials said.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators are trying to locate Timothy George Kenon. He was charged with stabbing a man Monday night on East Pettigrew Street, officials said.

Officers were dispatched to 1704 E. Pettigrew St. at 5 p.m. Oct. 1. When they arrived, they found a 44-year-old male who had been stabbed in the face, head, neck, back and arms several times.

The victim told officers a male entered his house and a struggle ensued, authorities said. The victim was taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment.

Kenon, 23, of Archdale Drive is described as a black male, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has a growth behind one ear. He is wanted on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
