Durham police plan warrant roundup

The Durham Police Department is planning a two-day, city-wide roundup to search for the more than 1,400 people wanted on crimes in the city.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham Police Department is planning a two-day, city-wide roundup to search for the more than 1,400 people wanted on crimes in the city.

Police have released a list of the names to be published Tuesday in the Durham Herald-Sun and will have teams of officers looking for those people Tuesday and Wednesday.

Duke University police will assist in the roundup.

Anyone with information about any of the wanted suspects is asked to call the Operation Roundup tip line at 919-354-2746.
