Durham Police Identify Shooting Victim

Ronald Bittle, 24, of Durham, suffered gunshot wounds, and police are treating the case as a homicide, officers said.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police on Sunday identified the man whose body was found Friday.

Ronald Bittle, 24, of Durham, suffered gunshot wounds, and police are treating the case as a homicide, officers said.

Police found the Bittle’s body behind a house at the corner of Clarendon and F streets after receiving calls around 7:40 p.m. Friday. He had been dead for at least two days, investigators said.
