Durham police arrest shoplifting suspect

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police have arrested a woman accused of shoplifting and pulling a knife on a store employee at CVS, at 5311 North Roxboro Road.

Lagaryce Franchanwn Flowers, 33, of Durham, was charged on Friday with assault with a deadly weapon and larceny.

Police said Flowers went to the store on Sept. 10 for a few minutes and left, causing alarms to sound. When an employee approached her in the parking lot, the suspect pulled out a knife, according to the police report.
