Durham police are searching for a man missing since he left home Sunday to visit a relative but never arrived.

<strong>UPDATE 5/23/2013: </strong>Durham police said Pollard has been found safe. They did not provide further details.

Michael Todd Pollard Jr., 22, was last seen leaving his home about 11 a.m. Sunday. He is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. He has blue eyes, blond hair and tattoos of blue and green flames on both forearms.

Pollard was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a picture of SpongeBob SquarePants on the front and khaki shorts. He was driving a white Volvo 240 station wagon with missing chrome on the front bumper and a Papa John’s sticker.
