A Durham man battling Lou Gehrig's disease has a new and inspiring message.

Chris Rosati is now setting a deadline for a cure. In a video, Rosati challenges the ALS Association to find a cure by 2021.

He's hoping to spread the word through a new website called by2021.org.

Rosati has been on a mission to raise awareness about ALS since being diagnosed. He made national news when he gave away Krispy Kreme donuts at hospitals and schools across the Triangle.

He also has a charity called, Inspire Media Networks.
