Durham man arrested for two crimes Wednesday

Durham police arrested one man and are seeking another in a home invasion that took place Tuesday on Nation Avenue.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police arrested one man and are seeking another in a home invasion that took place Tuesday on Nation Avenue.

Residents told police three men broke into the home, held them at gunpoint and took phone and televisions.

Police charged Clarence Leon Davis, 20, of West Piedmont Street, with felony conspiracy, second-degree kidnapping, first-degree burglary and larceny in the crime. He was already in custody, on charges he participated in a robbery and shooting at a Durham Comfort Inn.

Investigators trying to locate another suspect, Adrian Whoie, 26, of Iveywood Lane. Whoie faces the same charges. He is also wanted for failure to appear in court on earlier charges.
