Durham deputy, teen hurt in morning crash
A Durham County deputy and a 17-year-old were injured Thursday morning in a collision at the intersection of Angier Avenue and Pleasant Drive, police said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — A Durham County deputy and a 17-year-old were injured Thursday morning in a collision at the intersection of Angier Avenue and Pleasant Drive, police said.
Lauryn Hill was making a left turn from Pleasant Drive onto Angier Avenue shortly before 7:30 a.m. and pulled in front of a patrol car driven by Deputy M.C. Smith, police said.
Smith and Hill were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that police said weren't life-threatening.
No charges have been filed, but the accident remains under investigation.
