Durham County Commissioners passed a resolution to demonstrate the board’s support for the victims of Haiti’s devastating earthquake.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham County Commissioners passed a resolution to demonstrate the board’s support for the victims of Haiti’s devastating earthquake.

The 7.0-magnitude quake that hit the country nearly two weeks ago killed an estimated 200,000 people.

The resolution was presented to Isabelle Figaro President of the Duke Haitain student organization.
