A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition at WakeMed Wednesday after being shot at a Dunn park, police said.

<b>DUNN, N.C.</b> — A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition at WakeMed Wednesday after being shot at a Dunn park, police said.

Austin Caulder was sitting in his car in the parking lot of Tyler Park around 7:30 p.m. Monday when he was shot, police said. He had been with friends before going to the park.

Investigators said they believe Caulder knew the shooter, but a motive hasn't been released.
