Dudley man, 63, charged with raping child
A 63-year-old Dudley man has been charged with sexually abusing a young girl over the course of three years, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

DUDLEY, N.C. — A 63-year-old Dudley man has been charged with sexually abusing a young girl over the course of three years, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Thomas Earl Gray, of 104 Lockmere Circle, was charged with first-degree rape of a child and first-degree sex offense with a child.
Capt. Tom Effler said that a complaint about child abuse was filed on Sept. 9, and the subsequent investigation determined that Gray had been abusing the girl since she was 6 years old. The girl is now nine.
Gray was placed in the Wayne County jail under a $500,000 secured bond.
