<b>MOUNT OLIVE, N.C.</b> — The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a husband and wife after a fight left both injured on Oct. 17.

When deputies arrived at the home of Ralphfred and Shanita Robinson, at 2102 Emmaus Church Road in Dudley, they found &quot;a large kitchen knife lodged in the surface of his head,&quot; according to the arrest report.

He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released. An investigation showed Shanita Robinson had been choked.

Deputies charged Shanita Robinson with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. They charged Ralphfred Robinson with felony assault by strangulation.<br />
