<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police officers were investigating a traffic crash that killed one person on Country Club Drive near McChoen Drive on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. Police said the driver, a woman whose name was not immediately released, was ejected from her SUV.

The southbound lanes of Country Club Drive at Rosehill Road were closed as police investigated. Northbound traffic was also reduced to one lane.<br />
